Money Calculators

Here are completed blank calculators for your use:

Blank Family Budget - This is an empty family budget in Google Docs.  You can open it and save a copy to your own google doc account.  The spreadsheet is broken into 4 tabs: a summary, an Income page, an Expenses Pages, and a ReadMe.

You'll note I have different columns for different jobs (whether because you have multiple people working jobs, or you are working two jobs.  This will allow you to better understand where the money is coming from.  It also helps with different pay schedules (I get paid every other week but the wife is paid on a monthly basis).

Expenses are broken into "common" and by the person.  For many expenses, you will just use the "common", but for food, medical, gas, and entertainment it is beneficial to budget by the person.  Should you be looking at changes jobs, retiring, or otherwise changes a single persons day to day activities, you can easily see the effect.

Roth IRA Calculator - (BETA) - This is still in the works.  You can input your birthdate, age at retirement, Initial investment, and monthly contribution and it will calculate the value of the account, value in current dollars (so takes care of inflation), and shows you a chart of growth over time.
